Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office searching for missing Southport man

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies are asking for help in locating a man who has been missing since Thursday.

According to a post on the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page, 34-year-old William Tyler Wood was last seen leaving his home in the 2000 block of Pinecrest Dr. in Southport around 6:30 a.m. on June 15.

Wood is described as around 6′ 2″ and 220 lbs., with red hair and blue eyes.

Officials ask that if you have any information on his whereabouts, you call 911.
