Man convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2017 Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A jury has found a 22-year-old guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Daquan Daniels was facing a first degree murder charge after he shot and killed Aubrey Redd in 2017.

A jury found him guilty of the lesser charge on Friday.

Daniels was sentenced to between 19 and 32 months in prison.
