Gov. Cooper announces $1.9M in grants
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — 32 small technology-oriented companies across the state including one in Wilmington will share nearly $2 million to help them grow and provide good jobs, Governor Cooper announced Monday.
These are the latest round of grants from the state’s One North Carolina Small Business Program.
Seatox Research, Inc. of Wilmington got just under $60,000 to develop a sensor for the detection of paralytic shellfish toxins acquired through human consumption. This project is sponsored by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.
