Tropical storm watch continues for parts of coastal Carolinas

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – All watches and warning have been cancelled for all of southeastern North Carolina.

At 5 a.m., Potential Tropical Cyclone 10 was moving to the NNE at 12 mph. The low is moving into our region now, bringing with it scattered showers, and a few wind gusts.

An additional 1-2 inches of rain are possible through the morning hours. Things will start to clear out this afternoon, leaving us with better weather for Wednesday.
