Wilmington police train with explosives

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY NEWS) — If you were near the Glen Apartments in Wilmington today you may have heard some explosions.

Don’t worry. Wilmington Police were just doing some training. It lasted all day and just ended at 5 p.m.
Wilmington Police say the training is part of WPD’s ongoing efforts to be prepared for any scenario.
It was not open to the public.
