UPDATE: Deputies find missing Hampstead teen

**Update** Deputies say the missing teen has been located.

PENDER COUNY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a missing 16 year old Hampstead resident.

Tyler Lee Thomas was last seen at his home on Jamaica Drive on Friday, September 8.

He is 6 feet tall and has medium length brown hair and thin build. He is known to frequent beach accesses in Surf City. Thomas may be in a green BMW that has damage to the passenger side door.
