Bladenboro holds 51st annual Christmas parade

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Plenty of holiday cheer on display in Bladen County this weekend.

The chilly temperatures didn’t keep hundreds of people from lining the streets of downtown Bladenboro for its 51st annual Christmas Parade on Saturday.

Dozens of floats, marching bands, cars, tractors…and entertainers making stops along the parade route to celebrate with parade-goers…and even throw out a little candy.

The parade capped off a holiday kickoff that began on Friday night, when the town held its Christmas tree lighting- Complete with live music, games and hot cocoa.
