Wilmington Police identify man killed while lying on Wooster St.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have identified the man who was killed while lying in the middle of the road.

Police say Illaha Robbins, 38, was lying on Wooster Street when a car ran over him. It happened late Tuesday night.

The 19-year-old driver was unable to see the man before it was too late, police say.

Robbins died at the scene.

The driver will not face charges.
