Shots fired into multiple properties in Tabor City

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — The sheriff’s office is investigating multiple instances of shooting damage that might be related.

Deputies from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots fired near Clyde Norris Road that took place Monday night around 10 p.m.

A property in the 1000 block of Clyde Norris Road had bullet holes in a car and a storage building. And a property in the 1300 Block had a bullet hole in the front of the house.

Witnesses were unable to provide a positive identification of the suspects but mentioned an ongoing conflict between two people as potentially relevant.

No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains active.
