Crews responded to deadly house fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Crews responded to a house fire that killed one person in Wilmington.

Crews were called to St. Nicholas Rd. around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. They found one person who died from the fire and another person seriously injured.

No firefighters were injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by WFD fire marshals, Wilmington Police, and SBI.
