Rapper Afroman plans trip to Wilmington in memory of teen killed

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police still have not named any suspects in the death of a Wilmington teen who was shot near 13th and Wooster streets last month.

19-year-old Savannah Miller died after she was shot in the head October 14.

Now we’ve learned Grammy-nominated rapper Afroman is coming to Wilmington to perform in her memory Saturday.

The musician has a picture with Miller on his promotional flyer.

The show is an alcohol-free event happening Saturday night at the Rooted Kava Lounge.
