New Hanover county road to close for upgrades

CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) — A portion of a New Hanover County road will close while the N.C. Department of Transportation makes improvements.

Sidbury Road near Old Dairy Farm Road will close to traffic Feb. 10 – 28. While the road is closed, NCDOT will replace a pipe with a larger one to improve water flow in the area.

Drivers should mindful of crews working and slow down, and also allow extra time for their commute..
