Pender County man charged with murder in Duplin County
WALLACE, NC (WWAY) — A suspect is in custody for allegedly killing a Pender County man who had gone missing recently.
According to the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found a dead body in a car around 5:30 Thursday afternoon in Wallace and identified the victim as Antwan Joseph Strickland of Pender County, who was reported missing.
Travis Sean Walker of Willard is charged with one open count murder and is being held in the Duplin County Jail under no bond.
