Man in hospital after shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a man in Wilmington.

According to police, officers responded at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday morning to the 300 block of Lullwater Drive after a 40-year-old man was shot.

The man was taken to Novant Health NHRMC by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
