Support grows for online petition to create federal holiday for Billy Graham

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A national call to make a new federal holiday in Billy Graham’s honor continues to grow.

Kyle Siler started an online petition in support of the holiday on change.org a week ago.

It has now reached over 73,000 signatures, with a goal of 75,000.

Billy Graham died at his home in Montreat on February 21, 2018.

He was 99.
