Brunswick County Schools bus driver charged after child abuse case

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A woman who was a bus driver for Brunswick County Schools was charged with negligent child abuse.

According to Brunswick County Schools, Kimberly Buchanan, 54, has been placed on suspension as they continue to work closely with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department while they conduct their investigation.

They say this time, there is no indication that this incident involved any students from Brunswick County Schools.
