Two charged with attempted murder and kidnapping in Bladen County

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two men are accused of trying to kidnap and kill a woman in Elizabethtown.
Jordan Nance, 27, of Bladenboro, and Elijah Davis, 33, of Lumberton are both charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Attempted Kidnapping, and First Degree Burglary.
Davis is also charged with two counts of Communicating Threats and Injury to Personal Property.
According to warrants, the men broke into an apartment on McLeod Street late Monday night. Davis grabbed a woman and tried to drag her out the backdoor of the apartment while Nance provided the getaway vehicle.
The night before, Davis allegedly went to a motel where the victim was staying and threatened to kill her while beating on her motel room door. He’s also accused of damaging her vehicle.
Davis is being held under a $2.5 million dollar bond. Nance’s bond is set at $1.5 million.
