Police investigating reported sexual assault at Coastal Grande Mall

Myrtle Beach, S.C. (WPDE) — Myrtle Beach police are investigating after a 23-year-old woman says she was sexually assaulted at the Coastal Grande Mall on Wednesday night.

The report lists the incident as happening in “apt. 410.” The Victoria’s Secret/Pink store is suite number 410 inside the mall.

The suspect in the incident is another woman, aged between 20 and 30 years old, according to the report. She was reportedly wearing a white t-shirt and had “skinny braids,” according to the police report.

No other details about the incident are included in the body of the report.

The report states:

“On 04/04/2018 at approximately 1821 hrs I responded to the incident location in reference to a possible sexual assault.”

Information on the “other involved” subjects in the incident were redacted from the report, as was the information about where the victim was from.
