7th inning surge leads North Brunswick over Hoggard 4-2

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – A tied game was broken up late as North Brunswick softball came away with a 4-2 road win over Hoggard Tuesday.
Entering the 7th inning knotted up at two, a Vikings wild pitch gave Samantha Morgan a chance to run home from third to break the tie. That error also put Sophie Garst on third. Emilee Camacho then singled into right to bring Garst around for insurance.
Shanley Hunt kept things clean in the bottom of the frame en route to a Scorpions win.
