Two possible film projects for North Carolina

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Could there be new film projects coming our way?

Sheila Brothers at Wilmywood Daily reports two possible feature films could be passing through North Carolina.

First up is “Maximum Speed”, a family drama about a racing family.

It is said to be shooting at the Texas Motor Speedway and the Charlotte Motor Speedway this summer and fall.

Also a possibility is a period piece called “Wilderness” which follows a confederate soldier in the Civil War.

Production is slated to begin in August and could be shooting in three states – Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina.
