No refunds for WCU students if campus closes again because of COVID-19
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (WLOS) — Western North Carolina University has made some changes to its campus housing plan.
If COVID-19 forces the school to close again in fall, WCU will not issue housing refunds students who live on campus.
The university announced the amendment to its residential living agreement Wednesday. It said, if students are required to leave campus, they won’t get a partial refund for housing or their meal plan.
Officials said they hope it won’t come to that.
