PENDER COUNTY (WWAY) — Pender County Commissioner Jimmy Tate has announced County Manager Michael Silverman has been fired.
This comes after the board went into closed session in Tuesday night’s meeting.
The decision was made by a 3-2 vote, with Tate filing the motion and Commissioner Brent Springer seconding it.
Commissioner Jerry Groves opposed the motion.
