Three CFCC students awarded for excellence in academics and leadership

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College has announced the recipients of three prestigious student awards.

Cynthia Vasquez Rodriguez, a student in CFCC’s Architectural technology program, has been selected as the college’s recipient of the Dallas Herring Achievement Award.

Van Trong Ho has been selected as CFCC’s recipient of the Governor Robert W. Scott Student Leadership Award, which recognizes exemplary student leadership and service within the community college system.
