Robeson County woman charged with DUI after child’s death
Robeson County, N.C. (WPDE) — A Robeson County woman is facing charges after troopers say she hit a child with her car Tuesday afternoon in a store parking lot, according to Highway Patrol.
Trooper Jonathan Scott said Nancy Ransom, 45, is charged with driving while under the influence and felony death by motor vehicle.
Scott said four-year-old Timothy Lynn Sampson died from injuries suffered in the incident on Prospect Road.
Ransom is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
