More than 140 eggs found in sea turtle nest in Myrtle Beach

The first sea turtle nest in Myrtle Beach was discovered over the weekend with 143 eggs.

According to the Myrtle Beach City Government Facebook page, a person on the beach discovered fresh tracks Saturday June 2 at 55th Avenue North and reported it.

The nest was safely moved to a more secure location at Myrtle Beach State Park.
