ACT OF KINDNESS: Deputy helps driver change tire in the rain

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Going beyond the call of duty. As many people drove past a disabled driver Tuesday, this Brunswick County Sheriff deputy stopped to lend a helping hand.

According to a post the sheriff’s office Facebook page, Deputy Larry Branch was seen “helping to change a tire in the pouring down rain during one of the busiest times of day for traffic” by someone driving by.

The bystander caught the act of kindness on camera and shared photos with the department.
