Woman arrested for shooting in Columbus County
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A woman was arrested for a shooting in Columbus County on Tuesday.
The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Haynes Lennon Highway.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim told deputies that Andrenaishia Davis, 19, had thrown a cinder block through a vehicle’s windshield and then pulled out a gun, shooting the victim twice.
The victim was taken to the hospital.
Deputies allegedly found a holster, a live round, and a spent shell casing in Davis’s backpack before later finding a pistol at her home.
She’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, damage to property, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.
Davis is being held without bond.
