Sharks walk it off to defeat Crawdads 3-2

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — A Sunday evening baseball game went the way of the home side as the Sharks took down the Carolina Forest Crawdads 3-2.

Trailing 1-0 in the 2nd, David Nicks hit a line drive off of the pitcher’s back that rolled slowly into left field. Justin Santoyo took advantage of the extra time to score from second base and tie the game. That was followed by an RBI single from Danny Witters to give Wilmington a 2-1 lead.

After the Crawdads tied it, the Sharks scored to end the game and take the win.
