Make Music Day brings performances to Downtown Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Make Music Day returned to downtown Wilmington on Saturday, June 21, with free live performances from 5 to 8 p.m. The event took place at Plaza on Princess, located at 410 Princess Street, and throughout the Harrelson Center at Fourth and Princess streets.
Musicians of all ages and skill levels performed a variety of musical styles. Both amateur and professional artists took part. Performances included choirs, rock bands, marching ensembles, and more.
Make Music Day is an international event held in more than 1,000 cities worldwide. Wilmington joined the celebration last year, hosting four stages and 15 acts.
Different sections of the Harrelson Center featured different types of music. All performances were free and open to the public.
