Multiple injuries in traffic accident in Southport

SOUTHPORT (WWAY) – A head on collision in Southport has led to multiple injuries, according to the Southport Fire Department.

The accident happened on Long Beach Road near Faith Boulevard. Fire and EMS are treating those injured.

The Southport Fire Department says that drivers should expect delays in the area.
