Local brothers tee up a round with Annika Sorenstam

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two teens from the First Tee of Coastal Carolinas won a contest to attend an academy at the renowned Broadmoor Golf Course in Colorado.

16-year-old brothers Jack and Luke Boldt, both sophomores from Bolivia, were selected to take part in a four day all expense paid golf academy. Plus, they got to play with Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam.

The contest was open to more than 30,000 teens from First Tee chapters nationwide.

Jack and Luke went through a competitive screening before being selected. They’ve been playing golf since they were 4 years old.
