Shallotte man gets nearly 6 years in prison for dealing drugs
SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — A Shallotte man will spend nearly six years in prison for dealing crack cocaine.
In May 2017, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office got a tip that 53-year-old Delmas Carlyle Gause was selling cocaine base from his home.
Police say they found him with more than 28 grams of crack and more than $500 in cash.
A judge sentenced Gause to five years and 11 months in prison.
