Boiling Spring Lakes Police to hold annual Coffee with a Cop

BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WWAY) — Boiling Spring Lakes will host their third annual National Coffee with a Cop Day next week.

The police department is once again partnering with The Office Coffee & Wine Bar located at 3280 George II Highway in Boiling Spring Lakes to host Coffee with a Cop in Boiling Spring Lakes on October 3.

Chief Brad Shirley and other members of the agency will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to talk with citizens about any concerns they have or to just come and share a cup of coffee.

“Hurricane Florence was not going to prevent us from participating in this year’s event,” Chief Brad Shirley said. “It is important for our agency to continue to interact with our citizens and to be available to answer questions from our community about issues we are facing. We look forward to spending a few moments with our citizens while enjoying a good cup of coffee and even better conversations.”
