Tide truck providing free laundry service

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A new place helping Florence victims is coming by way of Tide.

The famed Tide Loads of Hope mobile laundry unit is heading to Wilmington to do laundry for those who need it.

The truck is courtesy of Proctor and Gamble and will also be handing out personal care and cleaning kits.

Volunteers from Matthew 25’s Disaster Response team will be working with the truck.

It will accept laundry from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Lowe’s Home Improvement on Porters Neck Road in New Hanover County Tuesday.
