Man shot in downtown Wilmington early Sunday morning has died
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The man shot in downtown Wilmington early Sunday morning has died, turning the case into a homicide investigation.
Police identified the victim as Raquan Wilson, 34.
The shooting happened just before 2:30 a.m in the 100 block of North Front Street.
Police responded after hearing multiple gunshots and found Wilson at the scene.
He was taken to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he later died.
