Brunswick County Schools to close again due to another tropical system

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Students who just recently got back into the classroom after Hurricane Florence will now be out again due to another tropical system, Hurricane Michael.

Brunswick County Schools announced they will be open Wednesday, but closed on Thursday and Friday for all students and staff. This includes Bolivia and Town Creek Elementary.

For those needing emergency shelter, you are asked to go to West Brunswick High School (550 Whiteville Rd, Shallotte). The shelter will open at 8 a.m. Thursday.
