Flipped tractor-trailer creates temporary traffic issues
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A tractor-trailer carrying sheet rock flipped on its side in Leland Thursday morning, causing some temporary traffic issues for drivers.
Highway Patrol says the tractor-trailer’s load shifted as the driver turned from 74-76 onto the I-140 East off-ramp, causing it to tip over.
The driver was not injured, and speed is not believed to be a factor.
NC DOT trucks quickly arrived and redirected traffic around the accident.
Two tow-trucks were brought in to remove the truck.
