North Carolina lawmakers begin override votes on bills vetoed by Governor Stein

RALEIGH, NC (WTVD) — State lawmakers have began override votes Tuesday morning for several bills vetoed by Governor Josh Stein.
During his first seven months in office, in total, Stein vetoed 14 bills, addressing issues such as gun laws, immigration enforcement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in public education.
