Bolivia man now charged with murder after woman dies of injuries

BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office detectives have charged James Thomas Horn, 84, of Bolivia, with the murder of Jill Elizabeth Horn.

Horn was arrested earlier this week for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury and attempted murder stemming from the incident that occurred on August 4.

She later succumbed to her injuries, resulting in the upgraded charge of murder against Horn.

Horn is currently being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility.
