Wilmington food truck hub ‘Chow Town’ opens to public
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Friday was the official opening for Wilmington’s first-ever food truck park, known as Chow Town.
It’s located at the corner of 4th and Davis St. in downtown Wilmington and will feature six rotating trucks daily.
WWAY spoke with chow town co-owners Dynh Lee and Zeke Nathans, who say more than 400 people showed up for the soft opening earlier this week.
“It was incredible,” Lee said. “The community support has been phenomenal. We really appreciate all the support.”
“Support from our friends, support from our families,” Nathans added.
In addition to food, Chow Town offers covered seating, a beer garden, live music and is pet friendly. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
