GO NUTS FOR DONUTS: Britts Donuts returns at the end of March

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A staple for the rotund pastry is making its return this month in Carolina Beach.

Neighbors took to Facebook over the weekend to announce the store’s soft return to business following a nerve-wracking off season with Hurricane Florence causing damage to many business along the boardwalk.

Britts Donuts informed Carolina Beach neighbors that they will reopen Friday, March 29 from 4:00 – 10:00 P.M. with a weekend schedule until Memorial Day weekend.

Store officials say they will run on a Saturday – Sunday schedule from 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. and 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

“We will run on this same weekend schedule with the exception of Easter weekend at which time we will be open Easter Sun 8:30 – 10:00 and Mon 8:30 – 5:00 or until donuts run out,” wrote one neighbor citing a store official.

Store officials tell neighbors the shop will be open 7 days a week following the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
