Before joining the WWAY NEWS team in August 2017, Andrew spent two years as a reporter/multi-media journalist for the NBC affiliate in Savannah, GA, where he took part in the award-winning coverage of Hurricane Matthew. Permits show information center to be demolished at The Glen

New Hanover County building safety officials say a review has been complete for demolition permits by the property developer. County staff says the developer has to pay for the final permit to begin demolition work on the Glen's information center.

County approves agreement to include Leland, Navassa, H2Go in plant expansion

The agreement is a part of the 2.5 million gallons per day expansion of the Northeast Wastewater Plant. It sets aside for the county provide additional capacity for three participants; the Town of Leland, H2GO, and the Town of Navassa.

More than 35 water rescues reported on Wrightsville Beach

NWS was informed this afternoon by Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue that more than 35 water rescues happened due to rip current conditions.
