Pets back to being allowed on the beach on Sunset Beach

SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Since Labor Day has passed, pets are back to being allowed on Sunset Beach.

The Sunset Beach Police Department reminds everyone that all pets must be leashed and to pick up after your pet.

Pets are still prohibited on Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach until October 1st.
