Columbus County Sheriff’s Office arrests man on drug charges
WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — A man was arrested on September 10th on multiple drug charges after an investigation by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a press release, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in the Pleasant Plains Community of Whiteville.
During the search, Detectives say they seized narcotics, a stolen firearm, and additional evidence. Because of that Joe Russell Menser was arrested.
Menser was charged with:
- Felony Possession of Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Distribute Marijuana
- Attempted Possession of Cocaine
- Maintaining a Place for Keeping and Selling Illegal Controlled Substances
- Possession of a Stolen Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He has a $40,000 secured bond.
