Laney knocks off West Brunswick 5-0

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — Laney boys soccer continued its strong season with a 5-0 home win to open conference play on Tuesday.

Conner Wall scored twice while Henry Tidey, Landon Reese and Andres Torres Romero.

The Buccaneer defense kept things clean as Sam Walter only needed a single save to secure the shutout win.

“It’s going to take a lot, it’s going to be hard,” Torres Romero said. “But I believe we’re going to come out on top of everybody. Just the passion, the teamwork and the hard work that we all have. Pretty big to get our conference started 1-0 against North Brunswick. We just got to keep going and win.”
