Warrants: Southport man found with presumed fentanyl in groin area

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A man was arrested for trafficking in fentanyl last weekend.
Cary Evan Shreve, 37, of Southport, was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, according to booking records.
On Oct. 4, officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the Exxon Gas Station parking lot in the Myrtle Beach section of Horry County, according to the incident report. Officers said this vehicle stayed at a gas pump for a while.
The report said that this gas station is “a well known location for narcotic use, sales and overdoses.”
