Construction resumes on Wilmington’s Riverwalk
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Construction has resumed on one of Downtown Wilmington’s main attractions.
The Riverwalk refresh is underway again near the Convention Center. The city says crews are replacing decking along this stretch and will continue working their way south until the new year.
In the new year, they will return to Ann Street and continue construction where they left off and keep the refresh going.
The city thanks visitors and the community for their patience as they upgrade the walking path along the Cape Fear River.
