South Brunswick draws West Brunswick 1-1 to close regular season

BOILING SPRING LAKES, N.C. (WWAY) — In their final regular season game, Southeastern Conference champion South Brunswick earned a 1-1 draw against county rival West Brunswick in non-league play.

Exactly six minutes into the game, a Cougars corner kick found the foot of Reid Coartney to give them the lead.

With around seven minutes to go before halftime, the Trojans found the equalizer off a long shot from Avery Kollman.
