NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher offers free admission to veterans on Veterans Day

KURE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher waives admission for military families on Veterans Day.

All U.S. military including active duty, veterans, reserve and retire personnel along with their dependents will receive complimentary admission on Tuesday, November 11th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Our staff, volunteers and visitors look forward to thanking the many service members, past and present, and their families at the Aquarium on Veterans Day,” said Hap Fatzinger, director, North Carolina Aquariums.  “We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of these heroes and can’t wait to welcome them as our special guests for the day.  

The aquarium reminds visitors that online ticket sales are requited for admission. Holidays and special days sell out quickly.

North Carolina Aquariums at Pine Knoll Shores and Roanoke Island are offering the same promotion to thank military families.
