WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW has released a statement about rumors circulating on the internet.

The statement reads:

UNCW has been made aware of alleged conversations online about student groups targeting members of the military.

While we have no confirmation of any truth about these claims, the university is taking them seriously.
